a creative portrait photographer

After 10+ years of being a photographer, I’m pinching myself every day that I get to do what I love for a living. I create imagery for clients (and for fun) involving creative concepts focused on all things whimsical, colorful, feminine, and funky, and then I get to shoot them with incredible teams of collaborators.

Educating other photographers is something I’m so passionate about - I know how it feels to have unanswered questions in a community where people often keep their secrets all to themselves. If you’re feeling stuck, you’re in the right place. In my content you’ll find photography tips, editing tutorials, shoot inspiration, complete walk-throughs of my process, behind the scenes, client management, building marketing strategies to take your business to the next level and so much more. You’ll also be welcomed by the support of a growing community of creatives from around the world.

There’s so much more to bringing a creative concept to life than just taking the photos. Playing a role in the creative direction, styling, and set design for each of your projects is what makes your work really shine.

My goal is to teach you that you’re capable of creating striking work that’s true to your own personal style and reels in your dream clients.

The educational content I make focuses on HOW you can do this through in-depth explanations, technical tutorials and demonstrations, and step-by-step instructions on how I executed my creative photo shoots.

Pulling back the curtain is what I’m all about. Whether it’s on social media, in my free resources, or in my exclusive community Made to Make, I’m sharing content for creatives that’s easy to understand, honest (to a fault), and full of value.

I’m talking: raw video footage of me directing subjects. My entire thought process behind the creative photo shoots I share online. My social media marketing secrets. What I learned in college for photography and over 10+ years of running my business.

If you want to know how to level up your creative content and grow a successful photography business, you’re in the right place. No topic is off limits.
