If you haven’t heard of our portfolio-building event COLORPOP for photographers – you’re missing out! I’m so excited to start blogging each of the photo shoots we organized for our event this year as a way to share a little bit more of the planning and behind the scenes process. Plus, these shoots were so cool that they deserve to live somewhere other than Instagram.

Colorpop MINI 2026 took place April in Jacksonville. This year, we did things a little differently by hosting a more intimate, one-day event for photographers who are eager to build a portfolio for brands. We partnered with three different brands in the fashion, lifestyle, and product categories to photograph together and attendees left with new skills from two educational presentations during the day.
